What should be considered before use

Plant spagyrics are a well-tolerated, very safe, and reliable form of therapy, and can be used by both men and women. There are only a few points to consider before use.

1. What is the alcohol content?

The alcohol content of "The Alchemist's Way" products is 21% (vol%), lower than that of most homeopathic or phytotherapeutic preparations. One 0.14 ml drop contains 0.024 g of ethanol. With a dosage of 3 x 10 drops in one liter, this corresponds to a maximum daily alcohol intake of 0.7 g of ethanol. In comparison, one overripe banana can contain up to 1.2 g of ethanol.

For this reason, the plant essences can be used effectively by all age groups when used in the correct dosage.

2. Can taking the product recur previous symptoms or worsen existing symptoms?

After taking essence blends, previous complaints can occasionally recur. This often happens after these complaints have been quickly eliminated with chemical medications, especially antibiotics or cortisone. Such reactions are generally considered positive, as they can reveal and reveal suppressed previous illnesses as a "diagnostic effect."

The recurrence of previous complaints after using essence blends can be considered a sign of reactivation. It is important to determine how these symptoms were previously treated. If chemical medications were used that quickly eliminated the symptoms, this indicates that the complaints were not completely cured at the time, but merely suppressed.

In such cases, the use of the essence mixtures should be temporarily paused. The focus should be on treating the reactivated symptoms, which can include spagyric, homeopathic, phytotherapeutic, or other complementary medical methods. Once the previous symptoms have subsided, treatment of the original symptoms can be resumed, although careful dosing is advisable, as described below.

3. Is the product safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

The essence blends do not contain any ingredients that are contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and the alcohol content (21% by volume) is also safe. However, as a precautionary measure, especially if you are already taking medication, we recommend consulting your doctor before use to rule out any theoretical risks or possible interactions.

4. Can the product be used in cases of severe symptoms, and are there any special precautions?

The essence blends are suitable as adjunctive therapy for chronic degenerative diseases with a progressive course. They can help increase vitality and support psychological well-being. It is recommended that the essences be taken, preferably in a slowly increasing dosage.

5. Can side effects occur when taking the products?

Spagyric products are generally considered gentler and have fewer side effects than many conventional medications. The use of plant essences is only contraindicated if there is a known hypersensitivity or allergy (hives, itching, or inflammatory irritation) to one of the ingredients or to essential oils. In such cases, the plant essence in question should be avoided and another product with a similar effect should be considered.

One known reaction is the initial worsening (Herxheimer reaction):

In some cases, taking spagyric preparations can lead to a temporary worsening of symptoms, known as the Herxheimer reaction. This effect often occurs when the body releases and eliminates toxins. This is considered part of the healing process and represents the body's self-healing powers' response to the essence.

The initial worsening occurs primarily with well-chosen essences and usually subsides after a few days. If these initial reactions persist, the number of drops should be reduced or the essence should be discontinued completely until the symptoms disappear.

6. How quickly does it work?

The speed of action of complementary medicine products can vary greatly depending on the type of product, individual constitution, and specific indication. Some people notice improvement after just a few days, while for others it may take several weeks before a noticeable effect is achieved. It is important to use complementary medicine products regularly and over a longer period of time to achieve their full effect. Acute conditions may experience faster relief, while chronic conditions require more time to improve.

7. What should you do if the spagyric product has no effect or if the effect diminishes?

As with any therapy aimed at stimulating the body's self-healing powers, the success of applying the essences depends on the body's ability to respond. If this ability is too weak or blocked, often only short-term improvements are possible. In some cases, the administration of the essences appears to be completely ineffective. If the body does not respond to the essences at all, this may be due to a lack of responsiveness on the part of the sick person. In such cases, we speak of therapy resistance.

Therapy resistance occurs when a patient's illness responds inadequately or not at all to medically recommended treatment, even though improvement or healing would normally be expected. This resistance can be either primary, meaning the patient does not respond to the therapy from the outset, or secondary, meaning it is acquired during the course of treatment. In the latter case, the therapy initially has an effect, but this effect diminishes over time. Secondary therapy resistance often occurs during treatment with antibiotics or antineoplastic drugs because microorganisms or tumor cells adapt their metabolism to the active ingredients.

If individuals have already tried numerous holistic or complementary medical therapies and these have only shown short-term positive effects, treatment resistance is suspected. If this is also the case with the use of essences, it can be assumed that the ability to respond to stimulating therapies is generally blocked. In this case, it is not advisable to switch to a similar therapy in the hope of a better response.

If signs of treatment resistance appear after several weeks of use, it may be beneficial to increase the dosage or switch to a new combination of essences. This can provide a new stimulus for action. The additional administration of a new essence can also have a stimulating effect.

If there is still no improvement or the effect diminishes, it is advisable to consider alternative therapy, such as acupuncture, meditation and mindfulness training, hypnotherapy, or psychotherapy. There are a variety of treatment approaches that can be individually tailored. An open discussion with your doctor can help find the right alternative and best support the recovery process.

Despite intensive efforts, a complete and lasting cure for many mental disorders or psychological illnesses is rarely to be expected. Especially in severely impaired patients, only partial improvement usually occurs, leaving them to suffer from their symptoms to a greater or lesser extent throughout their lives. Therefore, the goal of treatment should be to help patients adapt to the illness, live with it, and still achieve a satisfactory quality of life.

The reaction to an essence can also occur on another level. If, after ingestion, positive changes occur in areas not directly intended with the essence, this is also a response from the "inner physician." Such reactions can be subtle and initially go unnoticed because the patient is intensely focused on the symptom being treated and observes changes in these symptoms. Changes in other areas are therefore often overlooked. In this case, a change in the essence is not necessary. This reaction shows that the body is responding to the essence, and the changes in other areas have the advantage of making the patient less fixated on their symptoms.
